Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RCS Book ("Service") operated by RCSINFORMATIC PRIVATE LIMITED ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RCS Book is a cloud-based GST billing and business management software platform that provides:

• GST invoice creation and management
• Customer and product/service catalog management
• Inventory tracking
• Payment recording and tracking
• Business reports and analytics
• Free public tools (GST calculator, GSTIN validator, etc.)

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Not share your account credentials with others (unless using the multi-user feature on paid plans).
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RCS Book only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent invoices or engage in financial fraud.
• Violate any applicable Indian law, including GST Act, IT Act, or IPC.
• Attempt to access other users' data or accounts.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service.

5. Subscription and Payment

5.1 Plans

RCS Book offers a FREE plan (always free) and paid subscription plans (PRO, JET, RISE, BIZ). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Razorpay.

5.2 Billing

• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Razorpay processes all payments. We do not store payment card data.

5.3 Refunds

Paid subscriptions are refundable within 7 days of payment. After 7 days, no refunds are issued for the current billing period. To request a refund, email contact@rcsinformatic.com with your order ID.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of the paid period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the FREE plan.

6. Data and Content

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into RCS Book (invoices, customer data, products, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store this data solely to provide the Service to you.

We do not use your business data for any purpose other than providing the Service.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime.

8. Intellectual Property

RCS Book, its logo, code, design, and content are owned by RCSINFORMATIC PRIVATE LIMITED. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RCSINFORMATIC PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Loss of data, profits, or business due to Service unavailability.
• Errors in GST calculations resulting from incorrect data entered by users.
• Losses due to unauthorized access to your account.

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the subscription amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RCSINFORMATIC PRIVATE LIMITED from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email.
